Take Two

by Creative Commons

Inspire. Grow. Connect.

Since 2016, Creative Commons has strived to be a space for artists and creative people from all walks of life and experience. Inspired by the 3% Movement Creative Commons has focused on uplifting and congregating with like-minded creatives across all colleges at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. We intentionally emphasize the importance of Intersectional Feminism and cultivating joy through artistic methods in all types of mediums. From writing workshops, to painting, to inviting notable speakers, to Adobe tutorial lessons, our weekly meetings on Thursdays are a great opportunity to grow in your creativity.

Since our small beginnings, meeting in the basement of Andersen Hall, we have carried the tradition of an annual zine to show off our members and their amazing work. Due to Covid-19, we decided to adapt the zine to be digital for all to enjoy at no cost. We figured with all that has happened the past year, we wanted to make sure that this bit of enduring creativity could be shared across the internet.

This past year has not been easy for anybody. But thanks to the extraordinary people that were able to interact with any social media post, attend any meeting (no matter if it was over Zoom or in person), or even contribute to this zine, Creative Commons appreciates you. Take Two, our first ever digital zine, is dedicated to all of you.
